Youth Literacy
Reading is fundamental with Dodge County Head Start is a big part of our club's signature project. It is designed to spark a passion for reading among children. We've lined up a series of engaging activities, including book distributions, meeting speakers signing books and members reading books in the classroom weekly. Every chance we get to read with children and open up a new world to encourage their love for books and reading is explored. We recently read to children who attended Pancakes with Santa at the City of Fremont's annual December event for families.

Raise Money
Fundraising activities are essential for supporting the work of non-profits and community groups. They not only raise vital funds but also enhance community engagement and awareness. Popular fundraising methods of the Fremont Kiwanis Club include Midland University concessions for sporting events such as football, volleyball, basketball and cheer/dance competitions. These events not only generate funds through concession food sales but also provide a platform for enjoyable community, Kiwanis and Midland student group participation.
Community-focused initiatives such as our annual Pancake Day fundraiser are great for grassroots involvement, allowing residents to contribute directly to community youth support.
In all these efforts, aligning the fundraising activities with the organization's mission is key. It ensures that the event not only raises funds but also strengthens the community's bond with the cause, showcasing the power of collective support in making a positive change.
